Wish bubble, fresh air

E-mail Print PDF
To infinity we send our bubble of hope, what we would receive in an instant ... We visualize a bubble of color, textures well defined. Inside we put our wishes and send it to heaven, space. With the heart and without prior expectations we continue our journey. And often, if not always fulfilled our wishes come back within hours or days.

And was made one of our wish bubble when we met Indio on the island of Ometepe in the middle of Lake Nicaragua, Nicaragua. Ometepe means in the local language, the two mountains. Since there are two volcanoes on the island, the volcano Conception and Maderas.A name given by the Spanish when they arrived on the island. This island was invaded by the Aztecs long before. But from the beginning it was inhabited by 16 ethnic groups, 16 people who spoke one language that seems it was the language of Atlantis.

But in fact the first name of the island was the island of three mysteries, the first mystery is set in a water hole that was the step to go from child to adult status . Mystery of freedom. Once this is accomplished young people were allowed to climb the volcano Conception. In this sense mean that design, hub of life. Mystery of life. Finally, the third was the mystery of light, which is death.Maderas. The mountain of mentrees. The dead were placed in tree trunks with an opening hole to put tree seeds. A seed had the upper hand fed by one's body and became a tree for 81 years with  the name of the deceased and then be burned.

Indio, Quisso, Frayat, Oussegi, Christopher and others have reconnected to our true roots of their songs, ancient legends, their dreams of rebuilding a native nation to the island by their life experiences. We spent three days in their pension in Monoyalpa at El Indio Viejo hospedaje, where they welcome tourists and endangered species.A bubble of hope, a breath of fresh air that made us good. Found a family.
