It is here where Sage and Clemens will welcome their child, Fiji, in the middle of the Pacific. Here too, we Vents Nomades, we leave the crew and this wonderful project. The winds blow eastward, the Americas ahead, our ongoing project to new horizons. Again, we learn that no boat is en route to the east, and cargo ships are still expensive. Without rancor or remorse we fly and the best deal turns out San Francisco! Which is good since the season is a winter in the southern hemisphere! So our route changes, we therefore pedaling from North to South America, it seems the winds are favorable in that direction. There's nothing more fixed than the change! Nikke JONtte, a blonde (like 99% of Finnish) and brown (rare) ride on a tandem. We have met them on the South Island in New Zealand and it is through them that we have embarked on Infinity. Their journey has just begun and all their adventures are on http://ridethetandem.net/rtt/. They accompany us to our few days of cycling on Vanua Levu before taking the ferry to Viti Levu and Nadi International Airport. Their tandem is designed for the road, they have a trailer, smokes like fire and have great success with Fijian girls , especially with the tight clothes!
