Meet and Talk with VENT NOMADES AT MARYBOROUGH (QLD, AUSTRALIA)

Vents Nomades is the association of two French nature lovers, Elsa and Ollivier, who are on a low CO2 emissions journey around the world. They have cycled, ridden horses and sailed across 17 countries and 14,000 km for more than two years. It will take them three days to cycle from Brisbane to Maryborough and they choose to stay at ecology friendly accommodation whenever possible like Eco Queenslander which is a sustainable house and environmentally-friendly holiday accommodation in Maryborough.

Their aim is to create an international dialogue about the link between Mankind and Nature, and allow knowledge to circulate amongst people.

In partnership with the regional natural parc of Luberon, France, media and various schools, they want to share what they learn during this incredible journey. Their website and monthly magazine report their participation in international lectures on topics such as agriculture, biodiversity, water and ecomobility; and this information is accessed and utilized by their partners.

So if you have an interest in the French language, travel, communities, the environment, or any aspect of this amazing journey come and join Elsa and Ollivier on Wednesday 9 June, 6.00pm at Gatakers Artspace where they will present (in English) a record of their trip through videos and pictures and later receive questions (in English and French) from the audience.
